ICE MELTS
Ceiling’s falling down
Broken bricks and salty air
Sleeping on the ground
Grass is much greener from down here
Ceiling’s falling down
I hold my hands up high
Ceiling’s falling down
I gave, I took, I’ll try
——————————————
CHORUS:
Ice melts around me
Watered down it will,
Watered down it will never be
Ice melts around me
Together we will
Together we will make it freeze
——————————————
Hold my hands up high
And shout out all my dumb demands
Feet tap what I say
But it sounds quiet when I stand
Ceiling’s falling down
I hold my hands up high
Ceilings falling down
I gave, I took, I’ll try
——————————————
CHORUS
——————————————
Searching for my left shoe
In a pile of only right
Ice melts quickly
Don’t forget me
It’s bright out there
I’m wearing white
Ceiling’s falling down
It’s time to run and hide
Ceiling’s falling down
I stood and watched inside
——————————————
CHORUS
It is 2am and we can’t sleep. SIDEWALKS just went to number 3 in the iTunes charts. I didn’t imagine it would ever come close to that and I just wanted to thank everyone so much for supporting us. We have been up reading Twitter and Facebook messages. Matt is laughing at me because I keep getting watery eyed. We really put everything we’ve got into this album and to see the response just makes me want to work harder on everything I can.
We only have a week left of this tour, which started September 15th, and to all of you who have come out and partied with us I want to also say thank you… for those of you who are going to come out this last week let’s go big! You are all the best.
Big hugs,
Kim (& Matt)

These keep getting crazier and crazier. I love it. It was tough to pick a favorite out of this batch but I will say the kick to the junk postcard made me laugh a lot.
Keep ‘em coming!
Big hugs,
kim
