I can’t believe it is almost time for the album to come out. We have been waiting so long for this that i am kind of in shock it is about to happen. It is coming out on innauguration day. New album and new president…life is pretty good right now!

To celebrate the new album we are throwing a crazy show here in brooklyn at Music Hall of Williamsburg on Thursday January 22nd. We have some awesome surprise guests to start the party with us. I can’t say who anyone is but i promise this night is going to be a crazy party! If you are in town you will want to be here.

After the brooklyn show we head to the west coast to do a record release tour. We have awesome bands like Champagne champagne, Hawnay Troof, The bananas, The Mae Shi and Underground Railroad to Candyland helping us celebrate the new album out there. So if you are on that coast i hope you can make it out.

there’s a bunch of squirrels that live in the shed at the redhouse, but they’re chill, they even came in and left these sunflower seeds on my amp one night. nice dudes.

Feats of strength is what we did on our day off in amsterdam. We also had a pretty sweet human pyramid but our camera ran out of batteries.

If you really look at this photo you can see that we had to make a sort of tent around the cymbol and we also taped a wallet to the snare drum. For some reason it made the drums sound better. I think that recording drums is like silkscreening…the craziest shit works.
